1. Introduction

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all bookings made with GLECTA Education Ltd ("GLECTA", "we", "us") including 11+ Mock Examinations, GCSE Mock Tests, and Online Tuition Programmes. By completing a booking you agree to the terms set out below.

2. Mock Test Refunds & Cancellations

Mock test places are in high demand and exam centres have fixed capacities. Once a place is held for your child, it is unavailable to other families. The following terms apply to all 11+ and GCSE mock tests booked through GLECTA.

Rescheduling

Transfer requests to a different date must be made more than 72 hours before the original test date and are subject to availability.

Illness & Emergencies

Online Mock Tests

The same 72-hour policy applies to online mocks. A "no-show" is defined as failing to log in within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time without prior notice.

3. Online Tuition Cancellations

Our tuition programmes involve tutor scheduling, resource preparation, and ongoing lesson planning. The following policy applies to all online tuition bookings.

Refund Schedule — Tuition

Trial Sessions

Paid trial sessions may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 48 hours' notice. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable.

Pausing Tuition

We do not offer formal pause arrangements. The standard 4-week cancellation notice applies if you need to stop. You are welcome to re-enrol when ready, subject to availability.

4. How to Request a Cancellation or Refund

1. Email [email protected] with the subject: "Cancellation Request – [Child's Name] – [Test/Course Name]".

2. Include your booking reference, the test or course name, and the reason for cancellation.

3. You will receive an acknowledgement within 1 working day confirming whether your request falls within the eligible window.

4. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 working days to the original payment method.

5. General Terms

Discounted & Promotional Bookings

Refunds on discounted bookings are issued at the discounted price paid, not the full list price.

Referral Discounts

If a referral discount was applied to a booking that is subsequently cancelled and refunded, the referral credit awarded to the referring parent will be reversed accordingly.

Force Majeure

If GLECTA must cancel a session due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (extreme weather, venue closure, public health restrictions, technical failure), we will offer a full rescheduled session at no additional cost or a full refund at your choice.

Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
