This course is designed for Year 5 children planning to sit 11 Plus
entrance exams. Children will be prepared for a variety of test types both in terms
of knowledge and exam techniques.
The course is based on Maths, VR, NVR and English. We cover all the topics needed
for 11Plus preparation. Please check the Modules tab for further details about the
topics. In addition, the children enjoy short, informal sessions of
brain
training activities such as puzzles, quizzes and vocabulary exercises. These tasks
allow the children to practise reasoning skills tested by some selective schools.
Our aim is to equip our children with whatever skills and practice they need to
achieve success,
not only in today's fiercely competitive entrance examinations but beyond, for
whatever
their secondary education has in store for them.
We support parents as well throughout the course by providing plenty of tips and
advice in
preparation for Grammar and Independent School exams. Many of our pupils attend this
course simply to improve their Maths and English at school.
We also closely monitor our children's performance and share the detailed analysis
results of each student to their parents as
well so
that they can track the development of their kids towards ultimate goal of good
grades in 11+

In this course, we assume that the student attending this course is well versed with Key Stage 2 fundamentals in Maths & English which were taught in Year 3 & Year 4.

As you can see from syllabus we are focussing and building complete foundation for your child in Year 5 itself in order to avoid last minute preparation for 11 plus in different exam boards. Generally there is no pressure in Year 5 on kids and it becomes an enjoyable experience for your child.
